We've been here a week already… I can hardly believe it. Our house should really be more unpacked than it is :-) How can we possibly own this much junk? 
Scott has been working hard at his new job, so it was nice to finally have a couple of days to relax together over the weekend. We checked out our local pizza place, Dewey's, and the cute neighborhood movie theater on Friday. We live in the Clifton Gaslight district of Cincinnati, which we are quickly coming to love. It's called the Gaslight district because the street lights are all quaint gaslights:

It's called the Gaslight district because the street lights are all quaint gaslights:The thing we love most about this neighborhood is that every street is lined with humongous historic mansions. We've walked the same main street several times in the last week and have found something new to gawk at every time. It's hard to believe people actually live in these places! On Saturday, we made our way past all the mansions to Mt. Storm Park. It was a beautiful day and the trees seemed to have sprung into fall color overnight. It didn't even feel like we were in the city.
Baxter and I have been spending A LOT of quality time together. On the plus side, it doesn't look like I'm talking to myself if he's around. On the negative side, when he's not following me around the house putting his little nose in my business, he's either climbing into my lap to cuddle or whining to go outside every 10 minutes. He is a seriously needy dog. But lovable.
Colby loves the outfit, Baxter. Surely there is a movie he can star in! Thanks for sharing the info. Would love to see some of those mansions. Got everything put away yet? D&M
