We love this time of year! I have especially loved having the time to really enjoy the season this year and actually hang up decorations and go to Christmas events. It has been wonderful! Here are a few snapshot glimpses into how we've been celebrating:
Scott LOVES the cinnamon-scented pine cones
Yesterday, we went to the live nativity at the Creation Museum in Kentucky. They had multiple live drams, a first century marketplace, the nativity scene, a huge lights display, and even a petting zoo with some unusual animals such as a camel, zebras, and a wallaby. Despite the slushy cold snow coming down, it was a great Christmas activity with a very clear Gospel message. We definitely recommend it and are looking forward to going back to see the rest of the regular Creation Museum.
