Oh Deer

I was just returning home from a walk with Baxter when three deer raced out from our neighbor's yard and ran right toward us. A 5-point buck was chasing a 4-point buck who was chasing a 2-pointer. Wow! The 5 point buck stared us down for a second and Baxter really wanted to take him on, but I convinced him that was not a good idea. They ran back and forth across the street and through our neighbor's yard at least three times before finally disappearing. I haven't been that close to a deer, much less three bucks, in a very long time! Are we seriously living in the city here? Too bad we can't get a license to hunt from our front porch!
